Hello!
My name is Ruquiayah (ra-kiy-ah) I would love to share a few professional and personal details about myself. I am a new mom to a 3 month old baby girl, wife, and lover of social work and all things mental health!!

My biggest joy and passion, is working with at-risk youth in any capacity whether it be direct care or community-based opportunities. My years in the social work profession has allowed me to understand others in a meaningful way.

I joined Varsity Tutors because I've aided others in many educational settings ranging from high school to the graduate level. Outside of my full-time profession, I've helped students complete admissions packets and personal statements for graduate programs. I feel competent in areas of theoretical frameworks and social sciences/Psychology.

Also, aiding high school students in areas of their academics ranging from English/Language Arts, Senior projects, etc.

I look forward to building connections with students and helping them in their education journey!!
