I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. After completing graduate work at the University of Notre Dame, I received an English as a New Language endorsement.
My teaching experience began in 2004. I have taught preschool through eighth grade in many subjects, including math, reading, writing, English, social studies, science, art, PE, technology, and STEAM.
I recently created a STEAM curriculum and designed a STEAM lab. This opportunity gave me a great deal of experience working with all aspects of STEAM from the ground up.
I am passionate about finding the best way to help each student. My years of teaching have given me insight into how students learn. Realizing that students learn differently allows me to alter my teaching from student to student.
I enjoy each subject I have taught over the years, but my favorite subjects are writing, math, and STREAM.

I enjoy spending time with my dogs, reading, playing board games and video games. I like to create digital art, crochet, and embroider when I feel creative. My latest hobby is photography. I try to capture some of nature's beauty on film.
