Certified Tutor

While teaching English, the most magical experience came in the shape of a little girl who would refuse to repeat the sentences I directed. Instead, she resolved to reply with a loud "Moo". Thus, I went in front of her, knelt down, and carry on having a "Moo" conversation for some minutes. By meeting her where she was, I was able to spark her awareness of our mutual humanity, and this gave her permission to trust me.

I have a certificate of Proficiency from the University of Michigan and Cambridge University, a bachelor's in architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology - Albert Dorman Honors College, and a master's degree in Historic Preservation/Urban Planning from Pratt Institute. I have been teaching intermittently at various post for about 25 years.

Ultimately, I want to share a passionate love for learning itself as I have striven to continue being a witness to this practice every day I have lived.

The intrinsic insights in movies are a great source of learning to me. Historical and Political documentaries are a preference. Star gazing has been a great solace. Last, sharing life with the human one I love (an outstanding woman) AND three fur creatures (a handful of dogs) have been a privilege beyond my imagining.
