I have received a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and completed a minor program of study in African and African American Studies. As a student, I worked on projects related to maternal health in underrepresented populations, and traveled to Ghana to study under doctors of various disciplines. Since graduating, I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a chemist and more recently as a specialist in regulatory affairs, while teaching piano at the primer and intermediate levels to students aged 5-35. While I hope to tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about general and analytical chemistry, as well as music.

Aside from playing and creating music, I thoroughly enjoy reading, writing, and volunteering in my spare time. I am currently reading “Generations” by Jean M. Twinge, PhD and “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
