With a background in structural and architectural engineering, I've dedicated my career to solving complex problemsand one of my greatest joys is helping students build confidence as they tackle challenging concepts. I've worked with learners at various stages, from high school students exploring STEM pathways to college-level students preparing for engineering exams. I enjoy breaking down technical topics into clear, relatable ideas and creating structured steps that help students truly grasp the material, not just memorize it.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural Design emphasis and a Master's in Civil Engineering, also with a focus on structural design. I currently work as a professional structural engineer and lead a department focused on mentoring junior engineers, standardizing processes, and delivering real-world solutions.
I tutor a range of subjects including physics, statics, strength of materials, structural engineering, and math. My favorite topics to teach are statics and structural mechanicsthere's something deeply rewarding about showing students how abstract equations connect to real-world structures. My tutoring style is collaborative and encouraging; I aim to meet students where they are and tailor each session to their unique learning style.
Outside of academics, I enjoy watching and playing soccer, home improvement projects, and staying active through outdoor activities. Whether I'm building something with my hands or helping a student master equilibrium equations, I'm driven by curiosity and a passion for learning.
