Certified Tutor

I am a Bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker with a demonstrated history of working in the clinical social work field. I am skilled in counseling, substance abuse treatment, group facilitation, clinical case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, military social work, assessments, and clinical documentation.
I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington where I received my Master's Degree in Social Work with a direct specialization in mental health and substance abuse. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from The University of Westminster in London (United Kingdom).
I have a vast experience in tutoring, such as tutoring in English refugee children and adolescent rescued by the International Rescue Committee in Dallas; adults in Texas preparing for the Licensed Master Social Work exam; and private clients looking for tutoring in micro and macro social work.
In my experience helping struggling students prepare for the LMSW exam, I enjoy prepping for the reasoning based questions that make up to 60% of the exam. I am a firm proponent of education and I am a lover of academia, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my LMSW students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, having a glass of wine, and taking care of my two cats with my partner.
