I studied BSc Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London, continued to pursue a career in Microbiology by undertaking a masters degree in Microbiology and Infection, and then went on to embark on a PhD in Microbiology.

I have administrative experience at Heartlands Academy and have volunteered as a tutor for Team Up. Thus, I have experience in interacting with individuals of various ages. As a successful sales assistant, I foster relationships with both customers and colleagues to achieve optimum success within my role; expand networks to increase and grow revenue with the company's ambitions and ethos at the centre of my commercial activities. I am able to connect theoretical background with extensive hands-on laboratory experience, can understand the impact of microorganisms in infection and I take great interest in antimicrobial resistance. With a strong administrative capacity from managing day-to-day administrative duties, being fully competent with Microsoft Office and having transferrable skills acquired from retail experience, I have a naturally engaging personality and personal ambition to succeed as tutor.
