Certified Tutor

My goal, is to help students become better writers, with better use of the English language.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Communication Processes, from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
I have had continuing education at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, in an on-air television class; a teacher externship with Viterbo University; education classes at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and have studied Private Investigations, through online classes.

I have 25 years of experience, as an itinerant teacher, from preschool classes through high school students, and have individually worked with adult students, teaching English as a Second Language.

I tutor English classes.
English is my favorite to tutor, as I feel it is so important for all of us to use correct English. I believe, that our speaking and writing, develop during childhood and teen years. I would like to help students, so that when they become adults, they can speak and write better English.
I have also enjoyed teaching art and music.

My teaching philosophy, is to find out what students' needs are, in addition to what I feel is important to teach and learn. I believe, that listening is important, for teachers and students; we can often learn from each other.
