Certified Tutor

I am an Aerospace Engineer, graduated from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil for my Bachelor's and the University of Bristol (UoB) in the UK for my PhD. Combined, these two degrees provided me with more than 10 years of experience in learning, both from the perspective of a student in Academia, but also of a teacher when working as a teaching assistance over the last few years and more recently as a teaching associate at UoB. These included supporting students at different stages of their undergraduate degrees, in various topics ranging from introductory physics and maths to computer graphics, individually or in group, in person and even virtually during the pandemic! I hope that my career so far is an evidence of my passion for sharing knowledge and my commitment to a lifetime of learning. I am now confident that I know how to approach both of these processes efficiently and effectively. This means conveying information into a form that is more appropriate to each person trying to learn, patience and willingness to quickly adapt as much as required, and honest desire to establish a trustworthy relationship that transforms frustration into fullfillment. If anything, experience has taught me that one can learn anything, and I mean anything, that they put their mind to and I believe that with right mindset (and the necessary support!) everything is possible.
