Certified Tutor

So far, I have finished my GCSEs; studied under the Bulgarian system of education; finished high school in the US; experienced online and home schooling (during the Covid period); as well as finished my A levels (a 2-year course) in 6 months. These experiences have allowed me to specialise in the exam boards AQA, OCR and Pearson-Edexcel along with a wide range of tools and study techniques including time management skills.

I am passionate about teaching because I have been the student. I have experienced first-hand the stresses ranging from submitting course work to exam preparation. That is why I can work with students to makes learning fun and interactive. Additionally, this has kept me completely up to date with tools to help achieve your goals.

Throughout my high school experience, I have taken on multiple tutoring opportunities including reading mentors, homework clubs, private tutoring... Today, weekly I teach a Saturday school class. I would say my tutoring style is strongly tailored to the individual and their learning style. Mostly this ensures that the student remains engaged throughout, making every lesson memorable.

I tutor a wide range of subjects up to and including GCSEs; specialising in Maths, Biology, English Language, and Literature. My favourite subject to tutor is definitely biology. On its own it is fascinating, but further, it maintains this versatility throughout where every learning method is applicable whether it is mind mapping, diagrams, flashcards, lists, Venn diagrams...
