I have been teaching for the past twelve years. I have my masters in adolescent and special education, applied behavior science, and Educational Leadership. I have taught grades 7-12; ELA, ESE and ELL. I have worked closely with students with ASD and their parents. I have been on curriculum writing teams for ELA, Social Studies, and Science. Additionally, I have worked with teachers on analyzing their data and modifying their curriculum to ensure that all students needs are being met. Finally, I have worked in study skills and tutoring with students in grades 7-12 to prepare for tests in all subject areas, SAT, ACT, EOC, and State Exams. During my experiences I have developed my own way to impact knowledge. This experience has significantly helped me interact with learners and adapt to their learning methodologies.
I am an enthusiastic teacher who values feeding the mind of young minds. I am confident that my experience and teaching methods will benefit the academic progress of your student and enhance their mastery of state standards.
