My mission is to promote excellence, inspire, and encourage individuals to be the best they can be. As an educator, I know it was my calling. I went to school at Alcorn State University where I got my degree in Biology. While attending undergrad, I served 4.5 years in the Army National Guard. While I was Alcorn I became a member of the Chemistry Fraternity Alpha Chi Sigma and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. In both programs I provide much community service because helping people is just a passion of mine. After graduation, I completed Pharmacy tech School. Finally, I made a decision that Education was for me. I am now working on my Masters in Education at Belhaven University. My favorite part about being a student there is that, I get to input Christianity into what I do and it makes me more excited and dedicated to what I do. I will be a proud graduate in December of 2022. Being able to motivate and inspire not only students, but people is what God led me to do. I am patient, resilient, humble, and kind. I believe in teaching the whole child not just the content. I know that every child is capable of success and it is my passion to make sure each child knows that and not only know that but will be a witness of the results once they choose to not give up and I know that if we try, TOGETHER WE CAN!
