Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping students, because the young generation is the future of our society. With the correct learn method and effective help, everybody can achieve the goal they set for themselves.
I have mentored many PhD, undergraduates and high school students on their research, and taught graduate and undergraduate courses for near 20 years.
I finished my undergraduate study at University of science and Technology of China (Hefei), and obtained my master degree at the Institute of High Energy physics (Beijing) and PhD from Princeton University. I have done some postdoctoral research at Princeton (materials institute), Exxonmobil (Corporate Research, NJ), and Harvard University (Dave Weitz group).
The subject I plan to tutor includes math physics, general science and engineering. My favorite subjects are math and physics, because I am good at them. The students can benefit more in them.
I believe that everyone learns in their own unique way. I careful observe, and understand the students, give them straight answers, teach them method to research for answers and solve problems effectively. To inspire each student to achieve their full potential.
Outside academia, I am interested in enterprise (the contribute of modern technology to economics), travel (to learn various culture, to see various wonders in nature), and listening (news, podcasts) and reading (autobiography, science history, fictions, sci-fi).
