Certified Tutor

I'm Priyanka! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S in Biology and a minor in Psychology. I recently just finished my Masters in Biomedical Science from Tufts University, and I'm really excited to start dental school at Texas A&M-Baylor College of Dentistry in the fall! Through my years of experience of being a student, I realized the most valuable classes to me weren't necessary the ones I found most important. Rather, it was where the teachers lit up the classroom by sharing their passion for the subject and really engaged the class. I try to approach tutoring in the same way. I believe student teachers are a valuable resource because we have just gone through learning, struggling, and excelling in these subjects. Since high school, I have mastered the art of scrambling through the internet in search for academic resources to help me learn. With my extensive knowledge in the maths and sciences, I believe I can help students really understand the material by using various strategies so that they can tackle any form of question that comes their way. Making sense of concepts that feel impossible to conquer is such a rewarding feeling to me and I would love to be a part of my student's journey to reach their academic goals!
