With almost 10 years of teaching, I am passionate about helping my students understand and apply the content they are learning. I have a BS in Elementary Education as well as an MEd in Elementary Education. I have taught in multiple formats including classroom, online, and in a recording studio for educational classes. I have even had the privilege to speak at conferences for teachers and design a CEU course for educators.
I know the excitement I have for learning impacts how my students feel about a subject. I desire to find how to connect my students with the content they are learning. Learning should be fun and exciting and this is how I teach. I make the content personal for my students giving them a desire to learn it more.
I enjoy all subjects but really excel at teaching Math, Social Studies, and the Languages Arts. When I am not teaching I greatly enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with my family.

Something I greatly enjoy doing in my spare time is puzzles. I find them challenging and rewarding at the same time. I have also greatly enjoyed working in the yard for a long time but lately I have been doing more gardening and have found I love it. There is just something really rewarding about eating food you have planted and watered. I greatly enjoy reading from kids picture books to historical books to cooking magazines. I play the piano and love to listen to a wide range of music depending on the setting and occasion.
