I enjoy with all my heart, helping people succeed. As a manager in the business world, I devoted much time developing the skills of my employees so they could be excel and be promoted. I feel that same passion as teacher. For over 14 years, as an adjunct instructor of accounting and business courses, coached and guided students to understand the concepts of accounting and business management. When students struggled and became disappointed and frustrated, I gave the encouragement and motivation to keep trying and taught them they could do anything they put their minds too. In time, they learned that debits and credits and management principles were not that difficult at all. That is what is extra rewarding for me as a teacher, watching the enlightenment as students understand what they feared they could not. I am looking forward to tutoring as a way of working individually with students who are struggling with the material and concepts. I really want to give more attention to growing the knowledge and skills of students in a way in which provide visual and learning to individuals singling or in small groups rather than large class sizes of 30-40 students where some often get left behind. I want to tutor those students are in such situations and feel left behind with the goal or teaching them and helping them not only to catch up to their classmates but maybe even excel past them. I look forward to helping as many students as possible who need my assistance.
