I am a registered nurse with 7 years of nursing experience. I have a Masters of Science in Nursing- Education from WGU. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. As a nurse, I have worked in a variety of units including telemetry, med-surge, observation, and neuro. My favorite part of being a nurse is actually precepting students, nurse graduates, and new nurses to my units. My goal is to become work as a nurse educator in a college or university. I love the aspect of seeing students progress and have those "ah-ha" moments. When students and new nurses make the connections from books to practice. I look forward to helping others gain the knowledge they need to succeed in their classes and careers.
