Certified Tutor

I am an incoming student at Stanford University, and with a likely major in Mechanical Engineering. I am also a Coca-Cola Scholar and National Merit Scholar. Helping others advance their learning is what motivates me to tutor. One of my most formative tutoring experiences was in high schoolI realized many of my low income classmates lacked proper ACT preparation, so I started a series of preparation series. I arranged the venue, teachers, and was a tutor myself! I've lived in China for over 7 months through the NSLI-Y scholarship.

Outside of academics, one of my biggest passions is space exploration and astronomy. I frequently watch ISS flyovers or read news on SpaceX and other space organizations. During the summer of 2018, I participated in the Summer Science Program to empirically determine the orbit of a near-Earth asteroid. I do a lot of music, from classical cello to jazz bass, along with some piano. I also enjoy running, frisbee, cooking, and among a multitude of other hobbies!

My life mission is to help others; education is my passion. These two together are tutoring!
