As a 16-year veteran in elementary education, helping children succeed is one of my greatest passions. I truly enjoy watching my students set and achieve their academic as well as personal goals. In an ever-changing and sometimes uncertain world, I pride myself as an educator that the work I do plays a part in preparing them for the life and the challenges that lie ahead.
I am a self-described curriculum nerd and enjoy studying data to determine the strengths and weaknesses of individual students. I enjoy utilizing this information to discover their unique passions and learning styles, as well as being able to connect with them on a personal level. By doing this, I have seen true growth in my students. As a teacher, one of my greatest joys is the look on the faces of my students and the confidence they exude when they truly comprehend a concept.
Being the daughter and granddaughter of former teachers, at a young age it was instilled in me just how valuable an education truly is. I strive to instill this same mindset within my students.
