I graduated from Skidmore College in May 2019, with a double major in Math and Dance, as well as a minor in Computer Science. I've worked as a tutor for Skidmore's math department, and for the school's summer research program. I was also a part of the school's problem solving group, and competed in the national Putnam exam.
My approach for tutoring is going to vary based on my student, but my first priority is always to understand where they're at and what they do know, before trying to help with what they don't. I strongly believe in creating a welcome space for my students to learn, where it's okay to make mistakes.
