I have taught Global History and US History for over four years in NYC public schools, including in summer school. I have worked extensively with students with IEPs and 504's, and have creative many resources to scaffold and chunk information to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of history while building their reading and writing skills. Additionally, I have taught many honors classes and specialize in helping students fine-tune their test taking skills and write analytical essays. My students' regents pass rate is 20% higher than city average, which is evident in my "highly effective" teacher rating for the 2017-18 year. I've been told that my teaching style is both highly engaging and comprehensive.

I can offer access to countless resources to study outside of tutoring time, including Castle Learning, BrainPop, Flocabulary, and my own original study materials.

Additionally, I have tutored students in ELA in addition to teaching ELA classes.
