I am a graduate of Hollins University, with an MFA in Children's Literature, and a BA in Literature and a BS in Education from Concord Universitiy. I'm passionate about helping students discover new ways around problems that seem daunting, and encouraging their creativity. I've spent ten years running my own theater company and writing original plays performed by various companies, as well as publishing poems and short stories. Above all, I love watching a student's eyes light up with understanding, and the collaborative process of discovering new approaches to questions.
