I strive to boost student confidence in learning through instruction that uses student's strengths to access new concepts. I am committed to meaningful, experience-based learning that builds conceptual understanding by utilizing student's interests and multiple literacies. I feel students can only learn if they feel comfortable taking risks and learning from their mistakes.

I speak, read, and write fluently in both Spanish and English, and I am able to instruct in both languages. I have been teaching bilingual math and science at a Middle School level for 3 years.
