My teaching philosophy reflects my interests in collaborative and cooperative learning. As a passionate educator and active leaner, I believe that every student can learn and learning is a continuous process. I continue to push myself to pursue more understanding of effective teaching. No two students learn the same and it imperative that we can help those learners adapt and accept the challenge in the classroom to want to learn the curriculum at hand. As a teacher I utilize the different approaches to the various learning styles and continue to engage our students in an exciting, but educational learning environment. In todays classrooms using the student-centered teaching approach promotes and encourages learning by both students and teachers. It is imperative that the students in the classroom feel that they are a part of the learning community and that they are not alone in the educational environment. Finally, as teaching is a process, not an activity, my teaching philosophy offers an invaluable reflective view on how to strive for instructional improvement. My philosophy is one which strives to give all students an equal opportunity to learn.
