Certified Tutor

I have been passionate about helping others and academics all of my life. With the help of tutoring, I graduated at the top of my high school class from The Key School in Annapolis, Maryland. Throughout high school, I worked as a tutor for middle school students and during the summers provided assistance with review workbooks and reading lists to help them remain fresh for the upcoming school year. I then went on to obtain a B.A. in Sociology from Bowdoin College, graduating in the top fifth of my class (Sarah and James Scholar). While attending Bowdoin, I worked as a research librarian assistant teaching students how to use the school's resources for research papers and leading library workshops for members of the community. After graduating in 2014, I went to work in market research. After about two years, I realized that I was not fulfilled and wanted to pursue a career where I could help individuals one-on-one as I used to as a tutor. I am currently a part-time tutor at Keystone Education Services and an MSW (Masters in Clinical Social Work) candidate at The Catholic University of America. While taking classes part-time, I hope to make a difference in other children's lives by helping them realize their full academic potential.
