What is your teaching philosophy?
My philosophy of teaching is based on many years of teaching experience. My mission as a teacher consists of three parts: to promote positive learning; to spark student enthusiasm for learning; and to provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. For my students to accomplish this, I enjoy applying a wide variety of strategies based on essential educational principles.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session with students, I would assess the student’s needs and desired outcomes from obtaining a tutor. Then, we would discuss a plan of action based on the initial assessment.
