I am a second-year student at the University of Toronto pursuing a BSc, double majoring in Computer Science (Focus in Machine Learning) and Astronomy, and minoring in East Asian studies. My academic background equips me to tutor mathematics (pre-algebra through Algebra II), physics (mechanics and electromagnetism), general science, Python coding, and Mandarin language studies.
I have been the "tutor-guy" in my schools, having experiences working as the instructor in Kumon for almost a year, and serving as president of Math, Computer Science, and Astronomy clubs in high school, organizing tutorials and study sessions for more than 100 peers.
I strive to make all students comfortable with reaching their goals. My teaching philosophy centers on growth mindset and adaptation: I begin by assessing each student's strengths and challenges, then design lessons with clear, measurable objectives and incorporate frequent mini-assessments to adapt instruction dynamically.
I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm, expertise, and student-centered approach to help my students succeed and discover the joy of learning along their way :D

My hobbies are more on the "chill" sides. I love reading and learning "random" things: from South American countries' History to Micronesian Anthropologies to Japanese lightnovels. This hobby keep me inspired in my studies and bring creativity into my teaching. I also love exploring music generes, especially generes under jazz and world music. Other hobbies include cooking, jogging 5k, and body-weight workouts.
