I attended The University of Arizona where I received my Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, graduating cum laude. I then went on to receive my Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Rocky Vista University, graduating at the top of my class. I then attended Rocky Vista University, receiving my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2021. As a current general surgery resident I have had extensive knowledge of human biology, physiology, anatomy, and pathophysiology. I am passionate in tutoring students in these subjects at all levels. I am also currently involved in the recruitment process of general surgery residents over the last 4 application cycles. Additionally, I am responsible for the medical student curriculum for the general surgery clerkship.

As a first generation physician I understand the anxiety and confusion that may surround the medical school and residency application process. I have experienced the medical school and residency application process from both sides and currently serve on the interview committee at my general surgery residency. Having mentored hundreds of high school, pre-med, and medical students in their journeys, I am prepared to help you find success.

I am eager to work together to strengthen your knowledge in the intricacies of the human body and medicine. I am also available to help develop an application package that sets you up for success. I understand the intricacies of the process and aim to set individualized goals to achieve success. This includes building personal statements, prioritizing activities, proofreading the fine details of your secondaries, or helping you overcome whatever obstacles you may come across throughout this process.
