Hi! I'm a recent graduate with my MA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I'm an author with multiple manuscripts written and am in the process of getting them ready for publishing. I have a passion for helping students learn of their love for writing and reading as ways to learn about the world around them and helping them express themselves. I have traveled internationally and worked at ESL Sports & English Camps; taught ESL courses online to young Chinese students; worked as a special education paraprofessional with small groups of students and one on one, helping them with English assignments and creating in class work for the reading portion of their school day. I deeply believe that education is beneficial to all students from all walks of life, and hope to instill an excitement and appreciation for learning in all my students. When I'm not teaching, I am playing with my two preschool aged daughters or reading a new book.

Hobbies

I love to create anytime I can, whether that be crocheting or knitting, writing fantasy novels or writing poems, or painting with my kids. I am always excited to create. I enjoy attempting to skateboard with my husband, playing Zelda on the switch, and fostering kittens to get them ready for adoption. I am an aspiring author and have written two fiction manuscripts and one manuscript idea halfway completed.
