Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology. I received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Applied Statistics. My experience with tutoring includes sharing engineering techniques with college students during their work-study assignments; mentoring new employees; training and/or coaching a range of personnel to successfully implement statistical principles that achieve high quality; and, since November 2006, teaching and supporting adult students in an accelerated college degree program as an Adjunct Statistics Professor. My tutoring has focused on math, engineering, and statistical topics. Although my experience has been adult-focused, several age-groups have benefitted from an approach that fosters understanding each person's learning goals and starting point; the patient uses of step-by-step breakdowns with relevant examples; and periodic checks to verify improved skills in the topic. I am committed to supporting your success. My spare time is spent enjoying family gatherings, running my own consulting business, movies, drawing, walking, and creating fantasy characters for stories I hope to write.
