I am a graduate of DePaul University and passed the CPA examination prior to graduation and also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. I started my public accounting career in Chicago, Illinois focusing on auditing financial service clients with a Big 4 Accounting Firm. Passionate about working in the banking industry, I went to work with Large Financial Institutions in a Controller's and Financial Reporting capacity. I led various quality assurance projects to review data quality. It is exciting to learn and grow. I deliver on bringing key CPA-related concepts in an easily understandable format for the learner once I understand the student's goals and learning style. Tailoring CPA material to each student is key for a quick and thorough learning experience. Understanding key business concepts and financial information is critical to your learning pathway.
