I am a professional writer, technology consultant, music educator, and holistic practitioner. Some consider me a "polymath" for my expertise in a variety of subjects. I have a dual bachelor's degree in music and English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where I also studied computer science. After college, I became a self-taught web developer and Internet consultant who worked for small businesses as well as major entertainment companies such as Castle Rock and Warner Brothers. I am also a writer and editor, and I excel at helping students improve their writing skills. Additionally, I play a number of instruments, including saxophone, which I majored in at U of M (teacher: Don Sinta), guitar, ukulele, piano, recorder, and more. I am also a NAMACB board-certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and AAPNA registered Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist. I specialize in adaptive yoga for people who aren't naturally flexible. I used to perform comedy improv weekly in Los Angeles and I enjoy bringing some humor and fun into my teaching when appropriate. Currently, I co-host an AI podcast covering the impact of this new technology on our lives.
