Certified Tutor

I love working with students and adolescents, they are a group that I have grown to love and learn a lot about! During this moment in life, children need as much help as they can get to prepare them to become strong members of society, especially so for those who may have a learning or behavioral disorder. This is why I want to help students learn and become prepared for the future as best as possible!

I have worked with students as a Special Education Paraeducator at Providence Hall Junior High and through that experience, I have appreciated education even more! I got my Bachelor's degree from Utah Valley University with a major in Psychology, so I feel equipped to help students with a variety of needs! With an open background, I feel confident in tutoring English, Math, Science, and History, all those most important core classes! I also am confident when it comes to tutoring Psychology if that is needed in any capacity!

My teaching style is still being crafted and molded, so there's an ability to continue to grow and adapt new ideas for a variety of learning styles for students! I work to try and offer several ways to learn information so that a student can pick and choose what works best for them, as well as breaking information down to its most simple terms and building from there, as getting a strong foundation is super important to learn more advanced concepts!
