Certified Tutor

Hello!I am a recent graduate of The University of Toronto, Canada's top university. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a focus on English, and I am currently working part-time at another tutorial school as an in-person English and Creative Writing tutor.

For my degree, I learned extensively about British Literature, American Literature, and Canadian Literature. I also learned about the mechanics, craftsmanship and aesthetics of poetry.

My understanding of course materials was demonstrated through essay writing, and the university's high standard for academic writing has equipped me with the skill of writing clear, compelling, research-informed English essays.

In my free time, I enjoy learning about different cultures, cooking, and writing articles for various newspaper companies. My writings have previously been published in the International New York Times, the University of Toronto's studentnewspaper "The Varsity", and Hong Kong Free Press.

As an expressive individual, I have also participated in public speaking and debate since primary school. My confidence and eloquence have enabled me to win several competitions in public speaking and debate in my lifetime.

My dream is to eventually become a successful broadcast journalist, where I speak in front of the camera and report on news.
