Certified Tutor
I am a current student at Redeemer University in Ontario, Canada. I am completing a degree in Politics and International Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice, but have a history of tutoring in Math, Science, and English subjects. I graduated from an American International High School in Penang, Malaysia where I completed a variety of AP courses and the SAT. I am also a reporter for the Redeemer University newspaper team and am very strong in my skills of reading, writing, and editing. Outside of academics, I train Brazilian JiuJitsu full time and instruct classes for kids age 4-13. I also enjoy babysitting and volunteer work and have a strong passion for building community and making connections. My communication skills, as well as my prior experience in tutoring and athletic training, allow me to teach in a variety of styles and cater my own instruction to the learning needs of each individual student. I like to focus on simplifying complex ideas so that the learning process does not intimidate anyone from pursuing new knowledge. I have a passion for learning and love making education something that can be both beneficial and fun. I am educated in a variety of subjects, but have a particular love and excellence for Math and English that makes me excited to tutor.
