Certified Tutor

I attended the University of West Georgia. I received my Bachelors and Masters Degree from UWG. Throughout my years as an undergraduate, I was also tutoring with America Reads/America Counts. Now, I am a First Grade Teacher. I have been teaching first grade for 4 years now. My favorite subjects to teach are Reading, Language Arts, and Mathematics. I am passionate about children and their education. I strive to make learning fun for students. Students understand the learning more when they are engaged through game-based learning. Also, all students are unique in their own unique way. It helps to provide a variety of techniques for students to utilize. Having a variety of techniques allows students freedom of choice for which method works best for their level of understanding.
