I earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Poetry from St. Edward's University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. My undergraduate degree is in English literature. My tutoring subjects include English literature and writing as well as creative writing. I am particularly passionate about writing. The thing that excites me the most about tutoring students in this subject is that I get to enable them to become better communicators. Students' acquisition of language skills--including things like vocabulary, grammar, and organization of ideas--can help empower them to feel more confident and comfortable as communicators moving forward. I love being a participant in that process. In my spare time, I like reading, doing creative writing, and gardening.
