Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and English with a focus on British History and Literature and Canadian History and Literature as well as Literary Theory. I earned my teaching Credentials overseas at the University of Edinburgh. Since graduation, I have tutored students of all ages with several companies. I have combined their philosophies with my own. I have taught in Ontario schools and online. I have taught ESL online to adults. While I tutor many subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. I have experience helping students prepare for the Ontario Literacy Test. I help students to gain confidence in answering the reading and writing questions. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it is necessary for an improved quality of life. Learning how to learn is a crucial skill for future success. I impart this appreciation to all of my students. I enjoy reading in my spare time, which enriches my life, physical fitness, and time outside in nature.
