Certified Tutor

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Health Studies Program at York University. I am also enrolled in teachers' college at York University, starting in September 2024. I am working to become a high school social sciences and business teacher. I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching throughout the years and have taught in multiple classroom settings. I can tutor students in math from Kindergarten through grade 8 and English from Kindergarten to grade 12. I can also tutor high school students in social science, business and accounting. Outside of academics, I really enjoy cooking, baking, and fashion. In terms of my teaching philosophy and my tutoring style, I would describe myself as someone who does their best in creating a safe learning environment for their students; this includes feeling comfortable in working with me towards their goals, but also being comfortable and okay with making mistakes and working towards how to fix them.
