Certified Tutor

I graduated from University of Birmingham, having done BSc. Environmental Sciences, followed by MSc Agroecology from Harper Adams University. My university modules as well as IBDP subjects give me the soft skills I need to teach a variety of subjects, including Environmental Science, Biology, Geography and Business Management.
I strongly believe that every student is capable of learning in their own way. As a tutor, I find it important to invest in the student's personality, and customise lessons according to their learning speed and styles, to ensure that the student feels motivated to perform well in their exams and enjoy what they learn.
As a part of my tutoring style, I like to incorporate visual and auditory learning techniques between conventional reading lessons. I also prefer frequently testing small portions of the syllabus, to ensure a minimum number of revisions have been completed for each topic. Lastly, I prefer making a timeline or schedule for the student, to aim for goal-oriented learning, through which I can assess the student's speed as well as grasping capabilities.
