Certified Tutor

I've been passionate about teaching and tutoring for 18 years, and it's been a privilege to assist numerous students in achieving their academic goals. As a native English speaker, my journey with the English language began with my degree in English Language and Literature from Birmingham City University, UK. After graduating, I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education and went on to teach in four different countries around the world: the UK, Australia, the Czech Republic, and Kenya. My teaching experience spans a wide age range, from children aged 4-16 to adults.

My areas of expertise in English include KS1, KS2 SATS, 11+, GCSE, TEFL, and British pronunciation. I approach teaching with enthusiasm and engage my students effectively. My motivation stems from a genuine desire to help each student grasp the course material beyond the confines of the classroom and syllabus. I firmly believe that exceptional teaching must be relevant, tailored to the individual, and efficient.

When I'm not tutoring, you'll find me immersed in the great outdoors, whether it's hiking mountains with my family or enjoying a trail run in the midst of nature.
