Certified Tutor

I am a cum laude graduate of Geneva College with a B.S. in Biochemistry. I was also a nationally registered EMT-B for 2.5 years and now a Paramedic for over 1 year. I have 2 years' experience tutoring general chemistry, organic chemistry and algebra in a college setting. I tutored 1-on-1 sessions as well as group sessions of up to 20 students at a time. I also participated in a 4-month after-school tutoring program for elementary and middle school students to help bridge the gap of school and home to assist with the students' daily homework. I am passionate about all things science and medicine and enjoy helping other students understand these complex, yet fun topics. I think my background of biochemistry paired with my hands-on experience in the medical field gives me a unique perspective. My goal to help students master the more difficult science courses and inspire students towards their goals - whether that be pre-medicine, research or the medical field.
