I bring over 25 years of real-world mortgage experience and a strong educational background to the table. As a graduate and current adjunct instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I've combined academic teaching with hands-on industry knowledge to help students succeed.
Since 2004, I've been instructing NMLS-approved Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education courses through my companies, Mortgage Specialists and MORE Education. I teach the 20-hour SAFE course every fall at UNO and have helped over 500 students successfully pass the NMLS testwith thousands more trained across the mortgage and real estate industry.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I played baseball at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and went on to play in the minor leagues. After a serious car accident resulted in the loss of my leg, I didn't step away from athletics—I stepped up. I'm proud to be a Paralympian and have represented the U.S. on multiple national teams. Supporting and promoting adaptive sports has become a passion of mine, and I'm deeply involved in the community. When I’m not coaching or competing, you’ll usually find me enjoying great wine. I love collecting, learning about, and sharing wine with friends and family—it’s my way of slowing down and appreciating the craft behind the bottle.
