I am a graduate of York University where, with the highest academic distinction, I obtained an Hons. BSc. in Kinesiology - a degree which allowed me to integrate both my passions of science and sport. Given my desire to ultimately become a physician, I am now pursuing medical school. My academic strengths include strong knowledge of Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry, and General Chemistry. Additionally, I've always been great with numbers and can teach basic reading and writing. My teaching philosophy involves putting myself in the shoes of my students, and trying to individually tailor lessons as best I can to meet their learning needs. I also try my best to be enthusiastic, engaging, and encouraging to make the learning experience as pleasant as possible. Nothing makes me more happy than to see my students progress and realize that with a little bit of guidance and practise, anything is possible!
