I'm as unconventional as they come, but that just makes my lessons and methods stick in people's heads all the better. I've taught in the USA and in Europe. I have seen a dramatic amount of students struggling post COVID or being misdiagnosed with IEPs when in reality, they just fell behind in extraordinary circumstances during the pandemic and suffer on top of that due to strained resources.

My method works because I apply a *much* higher standard than typical American school teaching. The USA is slipping out of education rankings and the average American speaks 0.8 languages; we're not even at 1 language, including English! I believe people are much smarter than what they're given credit for, whether they're kids, tweens, teens, or adults.

I have lived my life with ADHD (and you bet I work with students with ADHD), yet despite my diagnosis, I managed to become a top student all throughout my life. This was due to self-awareness, learning from others, and hyperfocusing on things that interested me and reading all about them. I'm a great teacher because for the most part, I taught myself much of the way, and I'm a tough client. If I can teach myself something, I can teach anyone anything within my fields, which are writing, reading, public speaking, social studies (history and geography), and film studies.
