Certified Tutor

I have a degree in finance with distinction from the University of Lethbridge. I am passionate about helping students because I want to pass on my knowledge, give back, and see others succeed. I used Varsity Tutors early on in my degree and it was an excellent resource for me in some classes I found difficult. I tutor finance for university students, primarily corporate finance, investments/security analysis, derivatives, global finance, and financial analysis. I can also tutor statistics and introductory economics and accounting. My favorite to teach is corporate finance because it is the most applicable to the real world, in my opinion. Lots of jobs in the industry require solid understanding of the fundamental concepts in this course. My style is a slow-but-steady approach, I want you to understand why we are learning something before we delve into it. From there, you will be in control of your learning, we will cover the topics you need to the most and get into exactly as much detail as we need to. I find going through practice questions together a great way to learn.
