I love science and all things related; when you stop to ponder science you'll realize that everything is related to science. People enjoy learning until it becomes something they label as "work", so if we hold a view of "check out THIS wonder" we can sidestep the 'hard' part. Just think of how many colors of green we have in our world. What makes one shade of green a bit different than another shade? When weather turns cool and the days shorter WHY do the green leaves turn yellow, orange, or red? What's up with photosynthesis and cellular respiration's chemical equations being the reverse of one another? I love exploring the world and working with students that also want to explore.

I love animals and volunteer with a local rescue group. My furry family members include 3 dogs and 3 cats. The largest dog is basically a 90-pound puppy even though she turned 3 years old in July. She's a black Labrador and super smart! My Aussie is so soft and she loves to "hide" under my legs when there's fireworks going off, though it is hard to "hide" when you're a 60-pound dog. The small one is just under 50 pounds and is a mix of a border collie and a small Labrador. He is part squirrel!
