Certified Tutor

I am a West Texas Aggie graduate! I received a bachelor degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Speech Performance in 2019. While earning my degree, I worked at our local community college tutoring students in a variety of entry level science courses: biology, anatomy/physiology, and chemistry. Though communication and science may not seem like they go together, tutoring is where I found my passion for education. I love learning - no matter the subject! And I am passionate about sharing knowledge in such a way that it clicks with students and helps them reach the next step toward their educational goals. I tutored for 3 years in the science department while earning my bachelor degree, and upon graduation I worked for a nonprofit organization (Buckner Family Pathways) helping single moms as they returned to school to get a college degree. I helped women in this program with essay writing and resume building, as well as professional development techniques. This is such an important skill for life! My goal is to help YOU make your educational dreams a reality.
