Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Williams College. I received my Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre and English. I spent most of my time in school training as a writer, actor, and director, including spending a summer studying Shakespeare at the London Academy for Music and the Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and a semester studying at the National Theater Institute (NTI). Since I graduated from Williams, I have studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy (NYFA), worked for an entertainment studio, creating virtual content based on a series of children's books, interned at a film development company and a film festival, and done freelance video editing for non-profits. My passion is for storytelling in all of its forms. I love helping people to tell stories in the most effective way possible, and I have worked to help people edit and improve their writing both informally and professionally. Developing a story is hard work, but I find that pushing through that difficulty is incredibly fulfilling, and it is a rewarding experience to help people do that. My love of stories continues well into my leisure time. I enjoy am an avid fan of films and television, books, as well as anime and manga. When I am not voraciously devouring someone else's story, I am usually telling my own as a filmmaker and animator, or I could be playing/watching soccer.
