I grew up very poor, and through persistence and hard work overcame many handicaps to acquire first a bachelor's then a master's degree. I am a self-taught computer programmer, and my specialty is web and mobile development with JavaScript. After I learned programming, I wanted to teach and help others with disadvantages succeed just as I did. So I went back to school for a master's in education. I have taught programming to elementary, junior, and high school children as well as to college students and also adult professionals in the work force. I have no elite credentials to share; my students are my successes, and I am dedicated to them. They work at companies such as NASDAQ, Chase, GM, and HP. They all earn more than I do, and that pleases me greatly.
